Logan Wells passed March 23, 2014 at the age of 16, after he was hit by a car while skateboarding. He was a bright, passionate young man that touched many lives in a positive manner with his quick wit and sincere personality. Thousands of people attended Logan’s funeral, a tribute to how his life impacted his friends, family, and community. Skateboarding was Logan’s passion in life, and days after losing Logan, his friends and family started a petition to build a skatepark in the community to honor his memory.
There currently is no skatepark in the local community, and the petition quickly gathered over 20,000 names because many friends and family wanted to build a place to honor the sport Logan loved.
